thanks a lot chef. I bought an unlocked Imagio and tried to flash the July 4 roms of 29022 Sense. I basically put the updater and the rim image in the same folder and started the updater. then I followed the instructions to connect phone and established activesync with the computer. all is well and it proceeded to the screen that the progress bar will show up (also a progress bar on the phone). however it didn;t do anything there, the progress is 0%. after 5 minutes or so the computer says there's some communication errors with the phone and I have to recover the phone (disconnect cable and take off the battery and restart etc). the phone restarted normally and I repeated the flashing and still got the same error. i tried this on three computers (2 are Win7 64x and 1 is XP 32x) and no difference. since I didn't see anyone elase complaining about this, there must be a step(s) I have missed but I cannot find out. therefore I am asking for help here. Thanks in advance! I used to have Omnia II and flashing is different but easy. I am new to flashing Imagio and thanks for being patient!

Looks like I didn't unlock the so called HardSPL before flashing? I will try that tonight.

ok I can flash the rom. and they are beautiful!

I have a question with the GPS. the built in GPS softwares can never see the GPS. I notice that in "External GPS" settings the hardware port is set to "None". I can set it to a different port, but once I left the setting and come backg, it's reverted to "None" again. Is this the reason that GPS can not be detected? And if yes how to fix it? thanks a lot!!!

the other problem is, I installed CE Star 6.0 to display Chinese fonts in menus and in texts. but all i see are blocks. this same CE Star has been installed in my Omnia II Sense Energy rom and proved to work. Any tips?

Well...I finally manned up and flashed my Imagio. I must say, it's pretty kick ass! My kids just upgraded to the Droid 3 and they are a little jealous. My son asked me if he could just reactivate his Imagio with this rom!

Reinstall the stock ROM from here. You can install the MR1 or MR2 ROM.
