Re: |IMAGIO|¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.-* Energy *|Aug 1| 21911|23673 -.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯ MaxSense

Hi guys Im having a little problem with 21911 Standard 2.5 sense. I change my sense wallpaper and It only worked in home tab, in all others tabs the wallpaper is black!
I thinks this happen becouse I was in a Cookie sense ROM and I did a backup with settings export and restored those settings in the new ROM. Any ideas?

Is anyone else having to pull the battery eventually regardless of which ROM you use? I can't decide if I got a lemon of a device (one of the first ones - bought at the MS VZW store on day of release) or the Imagio is just a dog. The rep at the VZW store said the Imagio comes in for return more than any other device right now. To make it worse, my wife just bought the Motorola Droid X and she loves to ask me "do you like my new phone?" No honey, I think that huge hi-res screen, awesome interface and blazing fast, stable OS suck. 720p HD video capture? Nah. HDMI out? Not that sweet. I'm doing my best to resist the bleeding edge of technology urge but the Imagio isn't helping me here!
LOL. well i for one have not had many battery pulls but i will be honest. I luv the work NRG has put into this. And i have donated. HE HAS DONE THIS ALL WHILE NOT EVEN HAVING AN IMAGIO TO WORK WIT!!. But i for one want a great phone were flashin a custom rom is a matter of choice for a few tweaks rather than a necessity to make it bearable. Lets face it. NRG has taken a hyped up accord and turned into a nice entry level luxury car..... still has bugs but nice. I think imma get the Samsung fascinate when it comes out for verizon. something blazin fast n stable AS STOCK... then see what the chefs can cook up..

My phone keeps reverting to 1x and getting stuck. I've tried changing to CDMA and *228 options 1 and 2. I've tried setting to global and doing the same thing. Still sticking with 1x mode. Any ideas on how to fix this?

NRG roms are the only reason I still own this device. I donated a long time ago when the first ones released for the Imagio. I guess it's not fair to compare any Windows Mobile device to Android. There's no comparison. WinMo is an unmitigated disaster. Bleh, who cares. Thanks again for all the hard work on these roms NRG. I would just like to find one that's fast and stable. Is that too much to ask?

For me, the last few ROMs *have* been both fast and stable.

I have the CHT lockscreen disabled, and for the last month or so, I've only had to pull the battery twice.

I've donated too, and I just hope NRG gets enough people like us to continue to make it worth his time to produce this fantastic ROM.

(How) Do you know if this is related to the ROM or did you mean to post this somewhere else?

You have to have the .JPG file named just right... in this format:

e.g. if your album is called "This is a great album" then the filename must be:

"~hTC_This is a great album.jpg" (no quotes)

Also, keep the size down, I found 256 x 256 works fine.

Good luck
Thanks! This worked beautifully. I found that anything over the 256X256 resolution doesn't seem to work. So anyone else reading this, use 256X256 resolution.

In short:
1. Unlock your phone using the Hard-SPL. Download the file WhitestoneW-HardSPL_V1_99R1_100HSPL.zip found at http://whitestone.htc-unlocks.com/hard-spl.php and unzip it into a folder. You will have to turn off your anti-virus to prevent the executable from being deleted. You will also need an active internet connection during the process.
2. Download the .7z file of the ROM you want to install and unzlip it into a folder
3. Connect the phone to the PC using ActiveSync. Make sure the ActiveSync window shows the status as "Connected"
4. Run the executable names Imagio_SoftwareUpgrade.exe or something similar and wait until the ROM is fully installed on your phone.
5. The phone will then restart with the new ROM.
