This is the crux of the problem. The HSPL program will only run from one IP address but donating is supposed to fix the problem. You can open a ticket by following the instructions here at the top of the page or run the HSPL on another computer perhaps? Untill the device is HSPL unlocked you won't be able to flash.

A couple of things...

1) Are you connected to the internet when you are trying to run the HSPL? Because you have to have an active internet connection while you run it.

2) Are you right clicking and using the "Run as Administrator" option? For Win Vista and 7 I think you have to use that option.

And just to clarify -you are saying that you HAVE NOT unlocked another device?

1) Yes, I am connected to the internet on both the XP and Vista PC.

2) Yes, in Vista I am running RUU.exe as Administrator.

I have never unlocked another device before.

Update: I just hard reset my phone and automatic flashing ran through without any problems.

Hi Guys,

I got a replacement Imagio because the keys were stuck on teh old one (surprise surprise) and now HardSPL won't run saying I've activated another phone. Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Yes- here's what you need to do. Try again. After you get the error -there should be an option to donate. Donate (I think it is 4 Euro/$7 American minimum). It should work after the donation is made. At least that is what I have heard reported by several people in your same situation.

And remember -you need an active internet connection while running the HSPL.

Good luck. Please report back for the sake of others that may have the same issue in the future.

LOL, this post is starting to sound like a broken record! If people read (not much, just 12 pages compared to ROM posts, 1000+ pages) you can clearly see the same response over and over...

I donated when this first came out, and now i cant use it to unlock my replacement phone. i put in a ticket and pmd cmonex. i tried changing my msid, and i even tried using on a different computer and a different wireless network.

i understand having to donate to use it twice, but why should people who already donated have to donate again to use it? seems a little f'd up.

and yeah i know its only 7 bucks but you know what, i am working through college and honestly every penny counts so dont go telling me not to be so cheap please.

Then switch carriers.... Verizon is the most expensive (well maybe not now with AT&T's nasty new data plan! LOL)

You know Boost Mobile (CDMA) has $50/month plans, with unlimited data.... Just an idea...

i never said my monthly phone bill was too much, i said having to donate twice is kind of uncalled for and ergo a bit too much.

what does my carrier have to do with anything? i would unlock the hspl on any phone i get, the carrier actually has nothing to do with my post, im confused as to why you would even introduce it as a solution. it solves nothing.

As to me Unlock I tried my phone auto flash and manual flash came on behalf of the Administrator and have disconnected all antiviruses. Writes that it has defined that I already stitched phone and for commercial use it is necessary to pay. I have read all 14 pages on ppcgeeks.com before to write to you. Please help Unlock HSPL for me and my wife. I'm with pleasure would donatate but in our country we don't have any Visacard, Mastercard etc. I bought these used phones in ebay (by giving cash to friend), who went to USA.

So I think that the former owner of these phones could unlock them and before selling them to me again relocked. Such it is possible or I am wrong?

Yes. the owner could have unlocked and re-locked them before they were sold.

The only solution is to pay. You don't have to have a credit card. You can use pay pal which requires no credit card.

Just to double check -you had an active internet connection while trying to flash?

Of course i had an active internet connection while trying to flash. I think my phones is banned 'cause i`ve tried to flash on different computers. And i don`t use commercial just only for me, please Olipro help.

Your phone might not be unlocked before. However, I am afraid you have to pay for it. My phone is brand new shipped from Verizon. I was still asked to pay for unlocking. I just don't like the mandatory donation.

I downloaded this file and it is infected with a virus called "bloodhound" use caution when downloading. now with that said where can i find the real file to unlock my HTC Imagio.

This has been reported by several people as a false positive by the Virus Scan software. Several people have used this file and there have been no reports of any systems with virus infections.

for some reason I cant get the unlocker to open, when I try to extract to a folder on desktop I get "cannot execute"C:\docume~1\deuce\locals~1\temp\rar$exoo.6 78\whitstoneW-hardspl_v1_99R1.exe

This is the one i used and i haven't had any problems. Been using it for 7 months. Besides that there is no other HSPL to try besides this one.

I need your help. I just had a phone replacement due to a stuck key and now i am not able to install hardspl into my new phone. It keeps telling me that this software has been installed. Please assist..tks

once you try on the same computer, they block you. only option now is to choose the donate option in the unlocker and pay the 6 bucks

Has anyone ever flashed back to stock, re-locked and sent the phone back? I am getting a replacement today because of a stuck button and have energy ROM on my current phone...kinda worried.

I have stuck keys on my wife's Imagio. I think it's better to try to fix yourself and if you can't then do the stock flash, relock SPL and send to Verizon.

What about HTC? Going through HTC instead of Verizon... Probably not happening since you don't buy these from HTC, you buy them from Verizon.... Bastages...

Ok, new to unlocking my Imagio. I down loaded the zip file but when I try to unzip the file I get a Windows security warning stating that windows has blocked access to these files to help protect my computer. There is an option to see why the files were blocked and when I read this it told me to click on the properties of the file and check "unblock" which I did and the file still will not unzip. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Turn off your antivirus before unzipping the file. You may also need to turn off the firewall if it blocks access to the internet for the executable file.
