Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

Get this...... I forgot to change my setting in the "task manager" to close the program with the "tap" of the "X". So all this time I've been telling you my batt life is better, it has had 15 programs running in the back ground!!!!! WOW. Hopefully I'm not just lucky. Hopefully it stays this way. Don't get me wrong, it's still smartphone battery life were talking about. I still have to have a spare with me at all times. But i would say that I am getting 3 times better with this new ROM.

P.S. by the way, is it OK to post here. I don't want to get yelled at. I do as I'm told and never posted once on the HSPL forum???? is this considered the same????

I believe it has been determined that once you receive an SMS message after a reset, the e-mail tab will work properly again. It's been my experience since reading that out here somewhere. I've been sending myself a message after soft resets just to keep e-mail working lol

please... if you are posting about poor battery life let us know if you removed the tv app or not.
Haven't removed the TV. Could someone please link CURRENT/UP TO DATE instructions on how to do this? Thanks,

another hour has gone by. Three 5 minute phone calls and only down to 64%. And YES, still downloading and re-starting like a nut.....
Funny. My battery life was GREAT before the flash. NOW it's horrible...
bizzarro world....

Delete the key HKLM\Services\MFLORSSI

Restart.

Yer done! Somewhere out there is a .CAB to do this for you if the Registry isn't your thing.

That's weird. So you never get the solid green charge light? It's always amber?

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

No, I do get the solid green light, in fact I plugged the phone in about 6 hours ago and it's solid green now, but according to Ariel Battery it's at 96% charge.

I don't recall seeing 100% since the phone was relatively new. My guess is, that is indicative of the battery slowly losing its ability to hold a "factory" capacity of charge. I bought this [extended] battery a few months ago.

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

I bought a Seidio extended battery in October and it still charging 100%.
There were posts awhile back about battery meters not operating correctly for a while after flashing 3.04.

Re: New ROM VZW 3.04 Shipped

Owe Boy!!! i found something new that maybe you guys can help me with. I just noticed that when you hit the very top bar (that used to bring up a HTC screen) to get all your notifications, that nothing happens now.. You can click on the individual icons and get a WM type reading. Does this new ROM not have that feature anymore??? I kind of like that screen....(the part I'm talking about is where the bluetooth icon and signal strength icons are) HELP
