the advantage is there is minimal running in the winmo enviroment to allow more resources to be used in Android.

Haret's just a boot loader. When you load android it's outside of winmo. It doesn't sit inside WinMo.

I like this rom personally, and I tried nfsfans too.

no offense but that is such a cluttered mess of a mobile desktop. i really hope winmo 7 looks better than that for now ill stick to the palm pre.

tell that to Drellisdee,he will shoot you (he's palm hater just like me) I remember those days when 6.5 sys 21089 came out,everybody hated Titanium and the whole 6.5 UI LOL

I use to like titanium, but I love manilla. The home screen isn't clutter, it gives you everything you need, the time/date/weather/calendar. You can can take stuff off if u want. I think it's great.

I think you have it wrong. haret.exe is a boot loader. It doesn't boot android ontop of Windows Mobile. Not a sign of Winmo is running inside an Android rom loaded with the haret bootloader. Hence there is no point for a lightweight WinMo rom.

From XDA:

1. When Haret boots android, it actually kicks WinMo out of the phone's memory. Once you see linux booting, WinMo essentially doesn't exist on the phone until you reboot it.

finally got ballsy enough to flash a rom. i been using NSSFAN rom nd have been enjoying thus far. now that i know how to flash, i am more inclined to try others, just to see what isout there.

only problem i have is to flash a rom i need to do it at work... my house runs UNIX and MAC by my option... make some things more difficult but i like it.

i have said it before, i shall say again...
with WINMo there are enough 'chefs' out there, if you find something you dont like in one rom, you will more than likely find it in another...

With NFSFAN's ROM, how to I get Manila2D Themes to work? I added a .zip theme into the customizer app, it applies it and then I get to the Today screen and nothing is different. I've soft and hard-reset it, I don't know what to do :S

I don't want to try Vin's ROM right now because I like the option of switching back and forth between Titanium and Manila2D, if I can get it to work lol
