verizon touch turn off evdo
okay so I did a quick search didn't find anything.friend has a verizon touch still has winmo 6 not 6.1 I typed in the ##evdo# and can't get it to turn off evdo. The menu dosent show up. Is the code different than the sprint one?

How come you want to turn evdo off? If evdo is not available it will just switch to 1x. Also, flash that puppy to 6.1. Much more stable.

Yes why?
There is a Registry edit to enable the hidden menu that you are wanting to get to. It will allow you to enable 1x only EVDO only or Hybrid. If thats what you need let me know. and I can share.

Thanks much Whitey. There are a few differences that I hope I can properly outline for anyone else interested. Im using 6.1 on the Sprint network. Rom version 3.03.651.4 I had to goto the same pathway, but the option falls under a different area in my settings menu. I had to open my Comm Manager. Not that it was difficult, but some may get confused. Thanks again for the help Whitey. |
