Upgrading from 3.37.77 to 3.42.50.. will it mess GPS settings?

Having just upgraded the radio myself yesterday from 3.37.77 to 3.42.50, I have to say it made a substantial difference! The indoor signal is better by 1-2 bars, and at my house (located near the end of the earth as far as Verizon is concerned) the phone is now working everywhere in my home, including my basement, which was embarrassingly bad before. I would say it would be worth it. Just my 0.02.

now, I'm just curious if any California Bay area people have seen a increase........????????
