Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide
oh i apologize i was in class and half awake when i zipped it last night make sure to rename system-2009-08-08.img to system.img. I would delete the data.img that was created during boot rename that file and then try again. Sorry bro

Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide
it still does the same thing. loads seemingly fine for a few mintutes, then auto re-names a couple hundred files, gets to the line it hangs up on which is [ 652.006711] r5:000000000 r4:0000000000, then after about 30 seconds the screen blanks out, making me think its working, then i touch the screen and it goes back to the coded boot with it still hung up. If i press any button or plug or unplug the phone, it registers it with some weird character.
Argh thank you for working with me mush, on fixing this. Last edited by Mikeschevelle; 10-20-2009 at 05:22 PM. |

Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide
I extracted the files to my desktop. plugged in my phone. active sync opened. I hit explore. then clicked on device. then storage card. then copied the files there. I did rename to system.img.
btw what is the best way to format the card. |

Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide
ok so i got it running, didnt really format the card, just backed it up on the desktop. deleted everything on the card and put only the android stuff on the card.
Here is my question, in the OP he suggests to set the end key to got to main screen. How then do i turn the screen off? |

If i could clutter this thread one more time Is there a smart dialer available. I have always used a smart dialer so having to look for who i want to call in the contacts section is not my style
