What phone are you using? I'm really only experienced with the Vogue/Touch. I know the Vogue doesn't have a Wifi radio. My internet never had a problem using the Zen Hero build listed in the guide(get it here:Vogue-Android n00b Guide, it comes up automatically. The bluetooth support is being worked on, but I'm not sure if its viable yet. Check this page for more help on any subject: Android Downloads. This page has a download for a new build that will automatically configure for vogue or kaiser(which I believe is the handset you have).

no bluetooth as of yet, on even on the G1 port of hero

Thx sir, I copied everything but the net still is inop, it shows 3g on taskbar but no connection, ADN Internet-Android and password with username is blank server aswell, location gps appeared, and wifi is inop too. Error for gmail sync : Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. Do I need to do something with the default.. I was glad to see 3g up top but sheesh what a tease..

Thx for the input.. I only used the files in zen and updated base files but still no net... Don't know if there's sumthin needed to be changed in any of the files but if any 1 can upload what they got I can check and verify.. Thx again

Make sure your storage card is completely empty, put the Zen package on the card and unzip it to the card. Make sure it doesn't unzip to another folder. All your files should be on the very top of the card. Don't update anything, don't use any other sys files. I haven't had to make any changes to get the net working. You can try starting Internet Explorer before you launch Android and leave it running underneath. I have heard of people getting it to work that way.

My new hero builds are up at vogue-hero the build listed at the top of the thread no longer exists and the new builds are a lot faster. If you want to try hero I suggest you download the Vogue-Hero-Ssquashfs-Bundle.zip along with the data-vogue-hero.img.zip and read the top of the thread in my thread on XDA and post there if you have questions.

apart from extracting vogue-hero-data-image.zip and Vogue-Hero-Squashfs-Bundle.zip to the root what else do I need to have in my storage card? Haret.exe/default.txt? Anything else?

During bootup, I keep getting wrong checksum in longfilename and then it tries renaming something. Has anybody seen something like that?

when i tried to start the bundle i got to linux but then it stopped and said can't find /system? anyone know how i can get this to work? i have a bunch of files, txts, .sqsh and what nots downloaded to swap in and try. i really wanna try this out.

ok so i got all the files moved and renamed. and changed the res per xda. got the start and load... then get to what i call the 'welcome screen', where it says "HERO" and the little dude peeks out (totaly cool animation by the way) and switches to 'htc'. then we have a serious STOP. so i waited, 4min, 10, min 20 min, 30 min.. still nothing... any suggestions?
