None of the files can be in a folder but sometimes when you extract the files from the ZIP file it places them in a new folder. And if that doesn't work, try backing up your SD card and reformatting it. That worked for me. I was able to get the early 1.1 and 1.5 builds to boot up properly, but none of the hero builds worked. Just got a looping DOS-like message.

BTW I really appreciate all the work that everyone's put into this phone. It's got new life thanks to you! I'm starting to forget the pain of signing a 3-yr contract with Bell.

So I have an odd question. I have no experience with android. My power button no longer works and its really annoying me cause I cant turn the screen off anymore. Would it be really annoying to not have access to the menu button in android or is there an easy software way to get to the menu?

i like the new Hero. been running cupcake 1.5 tried Hero for something to play with. i like it with the exception of the following issue.

HTC Touch 6900 for USCC

i have no data transfer ability. any type of data transfer attempt i get an error. now having played with cupcake, i had this problem initially, in the past i am aware 'defaut' controls behavior for android, so i used a 'fix' i found for cupcake. still no dice. i have the 'default' cmdline from all 3 i have tried. if there is anyone can offer some assistance... thanks in advance

First off, Thanks to psykotik312 for the thread..

To all the gentlemen who made this work.. To those with Sprint, I have got it up and running but the internet is not working nor is the wifi and bluetooth. I can make and receive calls I've read several info's but I believe it can be the ROM I'm on.. It does connect with Hero UI but not when it's running.. If some 1 using Sprint can kindly route me to get this up I'd appreciate the fellowship.
