What to do with a stock Verizon Vogue

I'm trying to get GPS and winmo 6.5 on a stock vogue... What exactly do I need to do?
I got it a week ago and have searched around for a while but couldn't find anything that explained it clearly (lol maybe I just fail).

Would this be correct?

3. Flash 6.5 ROM

P.S. I'm a complete noob at Winmo (just moved from PalmOS been using it since 2001 lol)

yes that is pretty much it but to get the gps to work properly you have to edit some settings with qpst follow these directions to do that. I attached the bell radio that will work just fine, it is just the radio, but you install it the same way as you would a ROM. Welcome to the WinMo side you made a good choice. =D>

I am having a hard time believing that you cannot find any information on flashing you device & getting GPS to work. There are daily posts in this forum on people GPS problems.

I wouldn't jump in & start doing the aGPS hack. I don't think that it is necessary as I never did it.

As for flashing your ROM extract the files & run the ROM Update Utility. Connect your phone via activesync or WMDC which ever is your case.

[1] Unlock with 0.40.coke

[3] Unlock with 2.31.coke
[4] Flash Verizon ROM RUU_Vogue_VZW_WWE_3.14.605.1_Radio_3.37.77_Ship DO NOT LET CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN
[5] Flash any custom rom Recommend NFSFAN's ROM's
[6] Do the agps fix on xda (if you want the stock rom do this before step 5) Skip this step.

If you let customizations run, you have to do option 2 as posted above.

which is the easiest way? I am somewhat good at like the ROMs and stuff but went into the QPST settings customizer bit and and couldnt quite figure it out and didnt want to mess anything up. I have the Verizon xv6900 and have flashed and am running JTs 21806 build for 6.5.

Rom Date 04/01/09
Radio 3.37.77

I cannot get my GPS to work with google maps. (it use too)

or TomTom which I just installed.... with GPS viewer I IMEDIATELY get 6 or 7 sat locks...

But when I open google maps...I get a GPS connection error.

When I open Tomtom I get poor gps signal....

any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
