Yeah. You flash a pre-GPS ROM. Then, let the customizations run in order to get the old PRI back. After that I flash a GPS radio and a new ROM. Guide will come in a bit guys.

I'd definitely love that guide also. Both of the two current guides on the wiki (bruce and other one) don't work for my phone. Thanks.

Re: Anyone interested in a guide to getting XV6900 Standalone GPS back?

Is there any news on the new guide, I have a 1 year old XV6900 which I just upgraded to the new MR1, it made the device very slow, and of course it loaded with new junk, is there a way to get the old ROM version back if is not available here, as of yet? and Is there a way to reactivate the phone WITHOUT calling Verizon to re-Authenticate the device in order to get it working again? the last Rep told me to dial ##778 and went through several menus, which I forgot already...Any suggestions??
