Re: Tethering / Phone as a Modem
Try PDANET. you can attach your phone through a cable and use that program to run your phone as a modem.

Re: Tethering / Phone as a Modem
Psycho,
Ofcourse your connection will be faster through a cable. I do see why you would want to use bluetooth, no wires and whatnot, but you do realize that using bluetooth and downloading data at the same time will turn your phone batt. dead QUICK. just my 2cents but I would carry a small usb cable or even a tiny adapter with you to use instead, and GAIN battery life while on it!! |

The benefit of charging your batter was one that I noticed earlier this week, so I will now be looking for a better usb cable. Maybe a retractable one? |

Re: Tethering / Phone as a Modem
You should try the new HTC WIFI Router program. Similar to WMWifiRouter but free, they turn your phone into a wireless router, I've used both.
