Vogue won't turn on

I noticed that once in a while after I flash a new ROM the phone turns of for a reset but doesn't turn back on, i have to press the reset button to turn it back on. then recently it did the same thing except now it will not turn on at all, I hit the reset button and all it does is flash the red led but only if it is plugged in, no other leds come on at all. it won't go into bootloader or hard reset. it almost seems like the battery is totally dead and won't accept a charge. if I take the battery out with it plugged in the red led stays on like it normally does with the battery out. I was wondering if anybody heard of this happening to the vogue. the battery was fully charged when i flashed tho. I was going to buy another battery unless someone now for certain that it is boned and not worth it.

Re: Vogue won't turn on

It is not the software at all. This is either a bad battery or a bad phone. This is not normal behavior. ALL phones should reboot automatically after a ROM flash.

it hasen't happened before this I just noticed that sometimes when I flashed a ROM on it it would turn off but not start and I would have to soft reset it to turn it back on. I went to do that this last time and it wouldnt turn back on, no bootloader no nothing just a red flash when when I hit reset but only if the charger is hooked up to the phone. I am getting another battery but I won't be able to get it for a few weeks. thanks for the replys.

Re: Vogue won't turn on

My phone did this before. Not after a ROM flash though just randomly. It is indeed the battery, I popped in my extra battery and presto! it would charge and turn on.
