why not try to flash from the MicroSD? is easy and faster.

i just unlocked mine about a week ago and every single flash i've done has been from the Memory card, because something is screwed up in my laptop and MWDC connects and disconnects randomly.

So yeah, flashing from the MicroSD is the way to go

Thanks, I thought I posted something about the sdcard earlier today,
but it might have been in another thread.

I finally fixed it...it was actually pretty simple, I went into Backtrack and started playing with what it could see...(without Activesync)...which accomplished very little other than cracking that stupid SIM lock..
then i found a setting under Settings/Connections/USB to PC that allowed me to set it to disk drive setting or Activesync...if you choose Activesync and uncheck the box that says "Enable faster data connection" AND "Ask me first about which USB connection type when when I connect this device to the PC", then unplug and replug the USB connection quickly...it'll connect to Activesync, and you can update to CoKe 2.31.
