why not try to flash from the MicroSD? is easy and faster.
i just unlocked mine about a week ago and every single flash i've done has been from the Memory card, because something is screwed up in my laptop and MWDC connects and disconnects randomly.
So yeah, flashing from the MicroSD is the way to go
