Trying to reload stock spl

Hi all,

I am trying to reload an official Bell SPL onto my vogue as the touchscreen is broken and I need to return it but am having some issues. I have had a lot of help to get to this point and am by no means an expert so forgive me if I might not understand 100% of what I am doing here. Here are the steps I have done so far and each time after a soft reset I am still at SPL-2.31.Coke.

1) Grabbed official Bell update from HTC - http://www.htc.com/ca/SupportDownloa...cat=2&dl_id=98

2) extracted official update using winrar
3) use 'nbhtool' to extract nb files from official VOGUIMG.nbh
4) used 'htc rom tool' to create new nbh containing only spl from extracted VOGUIMG.nbh.
5) used Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31 to boot phone into temp bootloader
6) put new VOGUIMG.nbh into folder with ROMUpdateUtility.exe and ran ROMUpdateUtility

ROMUpdateUtility tells me it updates the phone fine. But when I reboot. It still has SPL-2.31.Coke

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to actually get the official spl back onto the phone? Thanks for any responses.

For those of you who had/have the same issues, here is how I fixed mine.

Download imecokeman's 0.40 unlocker ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/Im...e_unlocker.exe which I found in this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20370

This will flash your phone to an unlocked spl that will allow your official rom to overwrite the phones spl when you install it.

I'm using bell so I then download the Bell update from HTC. It is found at http://www.htc.com/ca/SupportDownloa...cat=2&dl_id=98

Simply run the exe and your phone should be back to an official bell spl and also bell rom.
