For those of you who had/have the same issues, here is how I fixed mine.
Download imecokeman's 0.40 unlocker

This will flash your phone to an unlocked spl that will allow your official rom to overwrite the phones spl when you install it.
I'm using bell so I then download the Bell update from HTC. It is found at
http://www.htc.com/ca/SupportDownloa...cat=2&dl_id=98
Simply run the exe and your phone should be back to an official bell spl and also bell rom.
