Re: Screen Bubbles
Sounds like the digitizer is coming loose in that area. There are replacements out there if you look.

Re: Screen Bubbles
Well, after being such a newb with smart phones (but not with electronics) I ended up haviing to take your advice and buy a digitizer as my touch screen stopped working. To my delight, it only cost 15 bucks.
So I buy one on eBay and it claims to come with instrutions. I went to the instructions link. It was dead. Meh bro came home from college to help out with the circuitry. THank goodness too, because I had no idea I was gonna have to take my phone almost completely apart. (This was only because we had to find some other instructions and ending up having to use two different sets.) I'm sayin all this to say that meh bro (Oxymoron) is awesome! We got to a part where we had to FORCE the digitizer out of the frame of the phone and burst throught the glue that was on there to get it out. I couldn't do it. I just gave him the phone and looked away. (I know I'm a shrimp, but I deal with software not hardware. Scripting I can handle, building not so much. LOL) Long story slightly shortened, We put the phone back together and turned it on and it worked better than it did when I got it. ![]() So rep to God for blessing that to work out. Rep to meh bro who is the Mod Master! And Uba Rep to PPCGeeks and XDA for being a constant 24/7 support help. (even betta than Alltel. ![]() Me and Mercury (my phone) thank you! d (^0^) b Two thumbs to you all! ModMaster'sApprentice |
