Just an FYI... (No April Fools)

I just called to get my Sprint Touch replaced due to screen damage. They are now sending out Diamonds as replacements according to the woman spoke with. So if anyone needs their phone replaced this would be a great time to do it. Prices go up in 2 weeks. Maybe I got lucky but that's what happened.

I have an HTC Touch and it's on its last legs. I don't have TEP on it, but if I call ecare after it breaks, how much will I have to pay to get it replaced?

if before the 16th $50, after $100.

Take the phone in to a Sprint Service and Repair Center. if the phones outside is still in good condition it should cost $55 to have them do an Advanced Exchange. if the outside is beat up pretty bad it will cost $119.

Advanced Exchange= They order you another phone (same model or equal to) while you wait the 2 to 4 days for it to come in you will have to put up with your current phone. then they will take yours and give you the new one.

FYI I manage an ASC out in NC

i just logged in to Eticket and check my HTC Touch;'s ESN and they are still giving out 6900

i have since moved on to the HTC TP but my touch is messed up so once they give out the Diamonds i will have to make the switch i would like a thinner phone.

he does not have insurance therefore they will not let him do any type of insurance claim like you are discribing...sucks...

i have a 6700 thats half broken registered and insured with verizon but for hte past year ive been using a sprint touch that i copied my 6700's ESN from. It would be nice to get a new phone and have it be registered on my account but recently when i went to phoneclaim.com i went to the final step and i think it said they'd be sending out a 6700. It was in the top paragraph and looked like it was part of the paragraph... not like the 6700 line was inserted in.

Anyone know for sure if they still have 6700s?
