Re-locking Bell Touch

Hi, I need to return my phone as my screen is completely blank. Bell has already sent the repair request out, and HTC is sending me a new phone, at which time I have to send back the old one, however, I am running a custom ROM, and therefore need to switch back to the regular Bell 3.09.666.1. I have been told on another forum that I should try using MyMobile to do this (since I can't see the screen on my phone anymore), however I'm having trouble finding exact instructions on what I need to do to get things back to its original settings. Can anyone give me a hand? I have read through the Guide to Downgrading thread, but it seems to be a bit outdated.

My Mobiler will allow you to view the screen when connected to active sync. But only when booted into windows

I believe that you can do it, you just need to flash to the .40 version and then flash the OEM ROM.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

It may have been better to post this in the Vogue ROM upgrade section.

Hi, I reflashed to 0.40unlocker, and it seemed to go fine. When I attempted to reflash to the Bell ROM, I got to 31% and it gave me an error message, and told me to disconnect/reconnect phone and see if I get to the bootloader screen. Unfortunately, I can't see my screen and I cannot get an sync connection to run mymobiler to see whats going on. Any thoughts? I can't try reflashing the Bell because I cant get sync

You just need it to be in bootloader to flash a ROM. Hold power+camera+reset and you will be in bootloader and you should be able to flash.

I've tried holding down power+camera+reset for a few seconds...but I can't get an activesync connection to flash the Bell ROM. Maybe Im misunderstanding something, but when I try to flash the Bell ROM it is looking for the activesync connection to work.

You won't get an activesync connection. But you should still be able to flash

***EDIT*** ok... it must not have been in bootloader (cant see the screen so Im running blind) The last BELL flash got to 100%, so I think it worked. However, now I can't get mymobiler to run properly. I click on "open mobilier" and it gives me a message in the lower left corner saying "running on your mobile" and then does nothing. Has anyone had this problem?

what a train wreck this is....

You are going to run into a problem with my mobiler. It will only work once booted into windows. So it won't let you get past the align screen
Do you need to go any further? If it relocked and reflashed, I would send it back in that state.

You can connect with activesync and delete the welcome shortcut from the \windows\startup folder on your phone, uninstall my mobiler and reinstall it to a different location and then try to reconnect.
