Re: usb to headphone jack help
By far the easiest solution that I have found is to stop by a T-mobile store and get the exact HTC USB to 3.5 headphone jack plug for the G1. Works perfect even branded with the HTC logo right on it.

Re: usb to headphone jack help
Yeah I bought some usb headphones from Amazon for the razor thinking it would work, but when plugged it in, the phone didn't even know it was there.

Re: usb to headphone jack help
So I realize my initial reply was kinda vague... the one I have is the one that's listed on ebay that alex jb got... and that you're considering getting it.
Just confirming that yes, you can answer calls, play music, and charge it. Just a minor thing that I noticed is that now, in order to charge, I can't just jam the USB end in... I need to pull it out a bit. One of the pins must be a bit off now... not sure if that's build quality or I just got unlucky. Very trivial to do though, not a big deal. |

Re: usb to headphone jack help
You can use a standard 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm adapter if you use the oem Y adapter that came with the touch. It is kinda bulky considering the Y adapter is pretty stiff. I have no idea about call answering. When listening to mine calls would interrupt the music then once I hung up it would resume play.
