Re: verizon vogue 6900 help with GPS PLEASE

You're very welcome pikewhite. It took me a long time to figure out what the problem was with GPS on custom ROM. It basically has to do with the customizations that run upon first boot of the Verizon ROM. Glad you got it working and are all set.
You will need to follow that thread over on XDA if you want to know about updates on NFSFAN's ROM. I do agree with you that it seems to be the bomb on our phone. He is banned from here for allegedly labeling someones elses work as his own which is a no-no in this community...or any software for that matter. Regardless...I love the ROM he puts out.
In the future if you have any questions let me know and I'll try to help you out. You can usually find me over on XDA a little faster...

P.S. the fix that worked for me was the one that RZAWORA gave me. This was the perfect fix here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=1194 this link does work because im stupid however it is the same link that RZAWORA has in his reply to me (pikewhite). Thanks.
Hi Pikewhite,

Do you need to have a Verizon data plan in order to start the GPS?
