Re: Vogue & Google Maps Latitude Function?
Same thing here...
Although, I upgraded to his 1.09 beta3 ROM, and I eventually got it to work by killing the data connection, and letting GM initiate it on it's own. That same method does not work on the 1.08 ROM that I am running right now. The iolite ROMs just use too much RAM for me... programs keep closing themselves... no bueno... |

Re: Vogue & Google Maps Latitude Function?
Thanks. I played a bit with disconnecting the data (NFSFAN v1.27) and then trying to login with latitude. It seemed to get further... but eventually ended up at the same error.
I don't want to upgrade to the beta rom... this one has been stable for me. ![]()

Re: Vogue & Google Maps Latitude Function?
Try unchecking the "Use GPS" box and then closing the app. Restart and try to sign into Latitude. I'm guessing that the phone cannot connect to the latitude server with the GPS using the data connection. Please let me know if this helps ya out.

Re: Vogue & Google Maps Latitude Function?
I enter my phone number to get the verification code but it just tells me failed to update profile, does any one have any ideas on this, and what does verification do for me?
thanks terry |

Re: Vogue & Google Maps Latitude Function?
OK, here is the easiest way to get latitude running on your phone
1 - start latitude, turn off "use gps", reboot phone 2 - before ANY internet access occurs start latitude 3 - sign on to latitude should take a few but will get connection 4 - use latitude whenever now, even after using IE/Opera and then go into latitude 5 - wipe hands on pants should be it, seems to be a common issue, especially amongst Sprint users but that should take of it Detroit Doug Last edited by detroit_doug; 03-01-2009 at 08:41 PM. |
