Before I upgrade my ROM what settings do I need to write down?

You don't need to write anything down... Once you've flashed the rom, you'll probably need to:

go to START> settings > phone > services> internet > Click "Get Settings"

This will get your internet back up and running. The rest is automatic.

Also, I had problems unlocking my boyfriend's Touch with (ImCokeMan's 2.31 Unlocker)last week while using my windows XP laptop & ActiveSync. But once I tried it on my desktop which is running the Windows Vista OS & Windows Mobile Device Center, it worked fine. Now my boyfriend's Touch is loaded with NSFAN's rom and it's just as cool if not cooler than my Touch Diamond.
