Verizon XV6900 Firmware Update

hope this doesn't screw up the notification que for my alarm like the leaked version did

I have 6.0 with htc customiser to get the weather. if i do the upgrade is there a way to get my local weather? are the linked upgrades really supported by verizon (I don't see the upgrade the verizon site-only hot fix) is there a way to get back to 6.0 if i have problems?

I will try loading something like Tomtom or Igo8 over this weekend to see if they work since they use map data. I've heard different stories as far as GPS working without a data plan, most of them say it can't.

The radio is bumped up to 3.37.78.

you can call verizon and have them block the data so that it cannot be used
