custom roms and battery life?

No more time bomb and if they do still have them, at least we know about them now. Im pretty sure theyre still beta. And even if theyre not, theyll probably never run on our devices properly since it was designed for our hardware.

I spend about 35 min on google news while listening to Pandora in the morning or streaming local radio through Skyfire. At least one to two hours surfing time on my break, all while having a constant IM connection and using it. About down to half power when I go home. I do have my email set to every two hours, just manually check it if I'm expecting somthing. Now I don't make to many calls since I mainly IM or email anyone while at work. Still with the original battery and some heavy usage on slow days I still go home with little under half charge.
