I think that is really the trick. I have my phone set to close programs when clicking the "x", so my inbox is always slow to open. But I am trying the service for the first time in a while, and it does seem to be a lot more stable/functional.

Re: **Why isnt everyone with a wm phone using seven push email?**

Also, for those using seven, have you found a way to get rid of outlook on your messaging list? I'm used to swiping over from my text messaging screen to get to my email but now its just a blank outlook screen. I'd like to get rid of that, if I can.

Re: **Why isnt everyone with a wm phone using seven push email?**

Can anyone explain the difference between the Sprint Mobile Email, which is powered by Seven, and the beta software Seven is distributing for push e-mail?

I tried the Seven beta software, and it mostly worked as advertised. I say mostly because I'm currently trying to track down a problem that started (I think) after installing Seven.

So now I deleted Seven and reset my phone to see if the problem reappears. But I hate giving up the push feature (I'm using Google Apps mail for my domain).

Is the Sprint Mobile Email worth trying? If it works, and it's a free download, why isn't everyone using that?

Thanks for any advice.

Re: **Why isnt everyone with a wm phone using seven push email?**

i was using the sprint email but it doesnt allow for more than one email and for some reason it didnt perform as well as far as push time it would take a couple of minutes. If the problem you are having with seven is the issue with touchflo, good luck i spent days trying to resolve this issue using different builds i cant find the answer to which build of m2d seven works with.

What exactly is "sprint email"? I did a search, but every where I look, it talks about setting up an account in Windows Mobile as POP3 (pull) and setting the send / receive schedule to 5 minutes.

Is there something else referred to as "sprint email"?

The only problem I have with Seven, is if I launch the app once, the next time I launch it, it never appears. I have to soft reset to get the app up again. But, even if I cannot launch the app, it still does push in the background, so I might just live with it, since I don't need to launch the app all the time (to configure / add accounts / etc).

Any Solution for Groupwise?

Is there any application/service out there which works (wireless calendar sync mainly) with Groupwise? (I don't mind paying for it once, but monthly payments is not what I am looking for)

I've heard great things about Mail2Web but the having their email address showing on outgoing emails instead of mine kills the deal for me

Re: **Why isnt everyone with a wm phone using seven push email?**

With all the praise that Seven's got, I expected way more. In terms of features, there's basically nothing to it. It doesn't let you enter any information when setting up an account. I need to be able to specify a different address to send as than the one that is used to log into the outgoing mail server. You can't even specify a name that people will see when they receive emails from you. It's annoying that the accounts are accessed through pocket outlook, but I can't modify the settings in there like I can with an account that was created in pocket outlook.

Having push email is nice, but without the features that even the plain vanilla pocket outlook has, I can't use Seven.
