Real data on radios?

Anyone had a chance to do some some real testing on different radios? More scientific and less of what it feels like (which is what I see on most threads)? I just got a replacement xv6900 and instead of going latest radio I loaded the leaked VZW radio and then a custom rom. I haven't noticed much of a difference myself in voice, data or GPS.

I am starting to believe there aren't any real differences in any of these GPS and RevA enabled radios and maybe it is all just a version number placebo...

I remember when the .40 radio came out, I flashed it. Somewhere along the lines I converted to the .30. I must have ran it 2 weeks without knowing. I didn't see any difference myself.

I myself recieved a better signal with lower Radio's, seriously...but other then that nope...
