Smile Backlight keeps resetting itself to "10 seconds"

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I don't know if this started when I upgraded to 6.1 a few days ago but I know this is relatively new.

I like my Backlight to stay on for a couple of minutes of inactivity; however, everytime I change my settings under the "Battery Power" tab, it will hold my new setting for a few minutes then it changes itself back to the "10 second" setting.

Any suggestions?

Do you have s2u2 installed? iv had a few problems with the s2u2 settings conflicting with my Start>Settings>SystemTab>backlight>BatteryPowerTab
settings. you might check that

Hmmm, since I don't know what s2us is, I'm gonna say no--I don't have it installed.
What is it?

Thanks for the reply though.

I have the same problem. I do have S2U2 installed, but this problem was happening before I installed it. For me, it seemed to be set to 10 seconds from 30 seconds after I did a Sprite backup, but not always.

Re: Backlight keeps resetting itself to "10 seconds"

I do have Sprite backup installed (v2.0.1). The backlight issue happens 24/7 though and Sprite just does an automatic backup at 2:30 in the morning.

I have tested this and each time I do a Sprite backup (6.5.2), it resets the value to 10 seconds. I have entered a ticket with Sprite. I'll let you know what they say.

This is why I use PIM backup instead and manually backup my own device...

Re: Backlight keeps resetting itself to "10 seconds"

Regression,

I stand corrected, I confused Sprite with Spb backup--that's the one I use. I've made a lot of changes to my phone this weekend so I'm going to play with it and see if it's still defaulting to 10 seconds of if it's been fixed now.

Thanks.

OK, maybe it isn't Sprite doing it then.... I'll continue to monitor it and see if I can pin point the cause for the change.
