Hard reset will restore ever thing to default settings is this what you want to accomplish?

If you are trying to get a program to worl then a soft reset may need to be made, depending on what you would like to do...

im trying to get the m2d to work. i was told to disable the cube, and kill the biotouc.exe. but every time it gives me the insufficient sytem permission error. but i read a few posts that mention a soft reset. i am trying to confirm this will allow m2d to install.

If you still need help, this is what I did:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=368269

It worked like a charm and it is reversable if you want the cube back.
