Re: Relocking Vogue to take back to store
If it is being turned in because it is broken, then don't bother...! I turned two back in without re-flashing. They were working but the buttons quit. They didn't care that I was on a different ROM.

Assuming your device will boot and you've unlocked with CoKe 2.31, here's what you do to get it back to "stock"... 1) "Re-Unlock" your device with the CoKe .40 (not .41) SPL. 2) Immediately flash to the sprint official 6.1 ROM There you go; That's it. If you skip step 1, Sprint could still tell that you've unlocked your device because you'll still have the CoKe SPL on there. Only CoKe .40 is "overwritable", so that's why you need to go back to it. Then, when you flash with the Sprint official 6.1 ROM, it will overwrite your SPL with the "stock" one. Do NOT, repeat DO NOT flash back to the Sprint Official 6.0 ROM. This could brick your device. |

If he's on a current custom rom, he's not on verizon (no stock rom), and it boots, flash to the latest official release and they will not have a clue. And the link goes to htc, and you can only get the latest official release from that link. Just tell them you were notified of an official release, and you upgraded to it. If you do find the ID-10-T that know's you've got a different bootloader, then take it home and do all those extra steps. Chances are, if you get that 0.01% person who knows, that person is probably a geek and they'll let it slide anyway... I do... |

It takes another 5 minutes (if that) to load the .40 SPL before flashing to the official 6.1 ROM.. why NOT do it just for the "insurance" of it? |
