Ok. So. This is what happened.

After browsing around for a bit I figured I would give OMJ's custom firmware a chance. I have a Bell HTC Touch(Vogue) and I live in Canada.

First, I used ImCoKeMan's 0.41 unlocker and it all worked except for the titan_exitbl.exe and I read that even though this step doesn't go through, as long as in bootloader it says 0.41 Coke than im unlocked, so i moved onto the next step

I dl'd and used the HTC Touch Bell rom upgrade from the official HTC site, while installing, I got stuck at 31% and kept getting error 262, after many attempts on multiple computers, it still kept doing this

Being the newb I am I went and tried flashing the OMJ Bell custom firmware, and it completed without any errors.

Now when I turn on my touch, it just stays at the HTC Smart Mobility screen, and at the bottom it says in red "No Radio"

Did i brick my touch? what can i do to fix this?

Enter bootload mode (Hold Power, Camera, and insert stylus into reset hole) and I would flash an official rom and try that

The issue is that you have a ROM installed that requires a 2.31 unlocker, and you have a 0.41 unlocker (unlocker is not the right word... but you get my jist). I would, in this order, run the 2.31 unlocker, flash to the updated Bell official rom, and then check to see if everything works (it should). From there, you can go back to OMJs rom if you so desire.

Right at the top of OMJ's link it says -You MUST unlock w/ ImCokeMan's v2.31 unlocker


You used the wrong unlocker. Try the correct unlocker, then flash the RUU_Vogue_BM_WWE_3.09.666.1_Radio3.42.50_Ship.exe. If still stuck I have seen other threads where folks did the same thing and worked out of it.

Maybe PM ImCokeMan and ask for advice.

Sigh... Can't believe i missed the 2.31 needed part, Thanks for the help guys.

So when i try to run the 2.31 unlocker, my phone can't connect thru activesync because windows wont boot up, so the unlocker says device not found when it starts up. I've tried going to the bootloader screen and doing it but the same thing occurs. Should I just run the RUU that came with the unlocker?

And while I'm here I had a question, the whole reason i used the 0.41 unlocker is because I'm unsure about how the GPS works, does my phone have it? Does it cost money to use?

go to bootloader then flash to a non-gps rom.....the stock bell or whatever carrier

yeah your phone has gps capability. only cost is for data connection but if you have unlim data then it is free. if you use a free maps ap then you have no additional costs.
