I use CloneDVDMobile with AnyDVD and I get a very satisfactory result that is not jerky and can be played using the built in Windows Media Player. Both are commercial products produced by SlySoft. Does not require a DIVX player and I have yet to find a movie that these two programs cannot convert. I get free updates for life and the updates come out regularly as they figure out how to get around new copy protection schemes.

I copied a working 700MB .avi file to my new Touch Pro just to take it for a test drive and the movie wouldn't play on my mobile's Windows Media Player.
Do I need to install a codec or something? |
