Re: Touch now $49, Mogul 299??WTF
well I ordered one off ebay for $155 and M$ paid me $38 back, so it came out to $116. I was aware of the $50 deal but I am not quite over my 2yr contract with sprint just yet and I bought it to play with android OS.
Also I did not want to haggle with sprint and get locked into another contract simply because well partly because I am on a family plan and I want my next phone to be an official Android phone on the sprint network. I don't have much choice around here, sprint is the only legitimate cell company in my area imo. They own all the good towers and the ones they don't own are old GSM towers owned by some mom and pop shop who refuses to update their towers. It is funny though seeing how many people buy GSM phones and fake their address to get on the AT&T network (for their iphone), but none of them have a local number and the reception is bad.... |

Re: Touch now $49, Mogul 299??WTF
Eww I would take Sprint over Verizon any day of the week. Verizon gimps their phones too much for my liking. And I'm sorry...I have been with Sprint since 97 with brief periods of being with Verizon, AT&T (when it was seperate from Cingular) and Cingular. So far, I would have to say Sprint has been the best all around. Best combonation of phones, service, and customer service. There has never been anything I need from Sprint that they haven't given me. And now, they are getting even better with the service reps on the phone. Their online chat service rox.

Re: Touch now $49, Mogul 299??WTF
Sprints prices have gotten worse but so has everybody else's, so I'd have to overall it does not really matter. However in my case sprint is the only real carrier in my area, so I have no choice.
I know I do not want AT&T and actually after having read up on Verizon there are or at least were things I liked about that company, but I cannot say the same for sprint. Verizon is the only company I have seen that has been pretty proactive in getting fiber to homes. |
