What do you mean "without putting the phone into the bootloader" and also what do you mean by stick under "stock roms"

I am just being anally careful....sorry.

Guys,
I ran the latest version of the coKe and updated to the Bell official ROM. Thanks everyone for that!

However, my concern is that when it rebooted after the coKe relocking, it said 2.31 coKe (before I updated to the Bell Rom).
How can I tell the SPL or whatever is the standard Bell one

The official ROM will overwrite it. To check it just put it in bootloader Power+Camera+reset.

I received my new replacement but I have to take the phone back to the office to get it sorted with my exchange server at work...
I thus need to put the phone into stock mode...
Unfortunately I dont seem to be able to relock this...after I run the unlocker tool, it seems to work but it just starts the device again like a hard reset...I try to cancel the customization and it works but it still just comes up to the standard "flashed rom" I had before...

The only thing I can think of is in the instructions for the unlocker that you have to disable the usb connection...it never gives me the chance to do this...when do I do this and what is it exactly?

HELP!!!!

What do you mean "stock mode"? if you need to have the Bell stock ROM just run the .exe from htc.com http://www.htc.com/us/SupportDownloa...cat=2&dl_id=98 . Your bootloader doesn't matter for the ROM to work.

I thought I had to run the unlocker program again to lock it before flashing a stock rom.

My rom is hacked right now and I want to run the stock rom.

No, all you have to do is run the .exe. The only time you have to relock your phone is when you have to bring it in for warranty to hide the fact you hacked it.

after you run 0.40 coke, you have to install a new ROM. Your phone doesn't work properly until then. Your post is difficult to understand though, you need to be more specific about what ROM were you starting with and what unlocker were you using?

Thanks for the reply.
I used 0.4 coke unlocker to relock.
I had one of jdm's new ROM's.

So, I run the unlocker, everything works fine until the point where it's done "flashing" with the 0.4 coke. It then reboots the phone and the existing ROM just comes back up again, like a hard reset.
