I have had similar problems (with the touch screen on the DS).. =) Try to use a screen cleaner (iKlear, ect) to wipe off any residue that may have been left by the adhesive, and after a realignment, you should (hopefully) be good to go.

Re: Screen

The adhesive screen protector should not ahve damaged the screen when it was removed. At this point, there may have been too much pressure to the screen at one point, and it is no longer responsive.. I am fresh out of ideas other then to call it a loss and file a claim or replacement? The deductable you pay might be better then buying a new screen for about $40 and not being able to fix it..

Re: Screen

I had the same problem as you guys. I was able to navigate through my system registry to the pressurethreshold key and found that it was so low that the screen would be therefore unresponsive. The only way I was able to fix it was through a reflashing of the rom since apparently you cant edit the system registries remotely, to my dismay. Maybe you are having hte same problem and the registry got corrupt? Hope that helps!
