Alltel will offer WM6.1 this week.

Yup we will be able to upgrade our HTC Touch this week with WM6.1. Radio will be turned on and GPS working. The rom will come with Alltel navigation for your GPS needs for a monthly fee of $9.99 a month, 30 day free trial or you can use gogle maps, which finds you within a few seconds.

Also with this ROM you will be able to get RevA if available in your area or download a PRL to pick up Sprint's RevA if available.

sprint reva is currently not available to alltel because sprint is just so happening to "kick/ignore" all alltel phone :@

p.s. whos your source for this info?

Not sure how you got the info of the "kick/ignore" since Sprint is all over the latest Alltel PRL and two, I am using Sprint's RevA signal as I type this message and working perfectly.

in iowa the adv tech said that sprint was kicking all the alltel customers off evdo... only reason i ask about source is there has been alot of people saying its ____ week and then nothing...

You are right nothing is guaranteed since this rom is still in testing but I for one can tell you that it is working very well on my touch. I will post again when it has been officially launched to the public so stay tuned.
