Re: New headphones

my adapter is similar but doesn't have the 90deg usb piece. just a straight thru one that I leave perm. attached to the headphones.

Re: New headphones

I got a usb earphone from amazon for about 4 bucks not inc s&h. It works fine. i no longer use the splitter that came with the touch. just punch htc touch earphones and you'll get lots of choices. for less than $10 you cant go wrong.

Re: New headphones

Why stick with USB? I wanted to reduce the amount of adapters too, so I
went bluetooth.

But, they don't fold well (not at all).

There is this though:

Wow Price has really dropped on those s9's. Here are the bluetooth headphones I use, really it's just two headsets but the sound is great and can be controlled on the right headset. These Actually stay on while running/exercizing. http://shop4.frys.com/product/525133...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG

I debated those Jabra ones while looking. I wasn't so sure they would stay on while riding my bike/exercizing.

Also, I think the S9 is being discontinued. I don't know if the S9HD is replacing it, or if it's always been out too.
But it's just my guess why the price is going down.

Anyway, didn't the Touch come with a mini usb headset?

How do you get bluetooth headsets to work with streaming audio?

You just pair them with your phone. When they connect, the settings page will pop up and automatically select [Headset] and [Wireless Stereo]. Very Simple. When you play music on your phone(WM, AudioManager, whatever) it automatically routes it to the headphones.

I also use mine to steam audio to my Car Stereo using Bluetooth. Dual XHD-6425. Works Great!
