Re: Activesync won't recoginze Touch

First off, I don't have the original windows xp disk for this laptop. I have the one that I use for my PC...can you use the same disk to repair or restore files or does it require a special disk for the laptop.

Any guidance would be helpful.

Re: Activesync won't recoginze Touch

Alright this may not sound as technical but i got one question and one solution. First question is are you using the latest version of active sync. Most of the drivers needed for your device are found within that program. Second on your touch go to Settings- connections- USB to PC, and uncheck "enable advanced network funcationality.
This may or may not fix it, something you can also try which i had to do before is to create a new profile on your computer, and see if it will sync with that profile. That did the trick on a clients machine once. Let me know how it goes

It doesn't make a difference, that I've seen. Just uncheck it and try again.
