Audio Routing Problem?

I can't hear my text message alerts. It doesn't even vibrate when I select that option. Is it because I have a BT headset? The audio is not routing there either. This is REALLY frustrating and I have looked everywhere for answers. I have a Plantronics Voyager 855 on the Touch.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I was also having issues with keeping the email notification setting where it was supposed to be. I turned it off completely, but it kept turning on a sound and a short vibration. In the case of the SMS notification, it keeps my settings, but doesn't do anything.

from what i know there is a bt routing software out there but most of them sound like sh** i know voice can go over bt but no music unless u get a bt routing

Well we need a lil more info. have u installed anything lately? or changed anything?

Nothing installed that would change audio routing for any reason that I would see. I really don't think I have installed anything at all. I haven't changed anything except when trying to get the audio to route correctly by changing BT profiles in the BT settings.

Does anyone know where these settings for audio are in the registry? I could do some looking there until I find an answer.
