hmm...well, you have the files, not sure if those are the newest ones since I only use the canada.3dl one.

have you tried changing the building visibility under settings>map screen>3d settings. You may want to try far ahead to see buildings even if they're far ahead. Lastly if there are still no 3d buldings/landmarks, it could be that OCN8 doesn't have any in florida.

I know here in Vancouver, I dont have any 3d buildings nor 3d landmarks. We only have a canada.3dl file and that's just for 3d landmarks. Apparently even in our capital city, the parliament building isnt considered a landmark. In Ottawa there are landmarks so I know the .3dl file works just none here...maybe it's the same case for you, none in florida. If you have other 3dl or 3db files, try other states to see if it works. if it works, then it's just that florida doesnt have any...

I'm not too sure about that, unless others in florida have seen 3d buildings/landmarks in florida, then you may have to get newer files or there's something else wrong.

The old 2007 maps from iGO 8 work on it as well as the new maps from this works on the old iGO 8. This pretty much means it's the same program, just a higher build and a different splash screen.

If any of you've tried it, have you gotten TTS voices to work on it? I tried the susan TTS voice and it doesn't work. Maybe I'm not copying the right files or missing something. I'm still fiddling with oncourse to see if there are other differences from iGO, but seems to be the same. I guess good thing is now we got updated NA maps.

I'm going to test to see if terrain, 3d buildings, and poi works on this for canada, since it hasn't worked before.

PS, if you dont have it, a little searching online you should be able to find it.

i can't seem to find a good version to download. can anyone pm me a link, and perhaps installation instructions? any help is appreciated, i'm trying to use GPS on my touch for the first time.
