Ringtones Keep Turning Off

So like every hour I have to set the sounds and notifications for messages/e-mail/and reminders, the incoming call ringtone is fine, anyone know how to fix it without doing a hard reset. All my small ringtones are under "APP DATA\SOUNDS" as they always were; because thats the only way I know how to set ringtones for text messages if i put under "WINDOWS\RINGS" it won't let me set them for text messages only for INCOMING CALLS
