Exclamation Two problems....

I have two problems that I am not sure how to fix....before I begin....YES, I did try to do a search -- if I would have found an answer, I would not ask it again here......NO, I have not tried a HARD reset yet....and NO I really don't want to HARD reset if I do not have to...

PROBLEM 1: After a SOFT reset, many times I get ewrrors that various things could not load....it is dofferent each time...and it is not every time...the stuff that is supposed to be laoding is in MAIN memory and NOT on an SD card....any ideas?

PROBLEM 2: Several times during the day, my sound will go out. It will be working fine and then just stop working....no sound at all. If I reset, the sound returns, but then I have to suffer through problem #1.

Please help!

I have run both SKTools and MemMaid to make sure that everything is cleaned up....

Thanks in advance!!!!

Re: Two problems....

Re: Two problems....

First off, WHAT are the SPECIFIC errors on #1.

specifics are needed to tell you what to do to solve them.

The specific errors varry from softboot to softboot...

sometimes I may get an error that it can not load calnot.exe

sometimes I may get an error that s2u2 can not load or that there was some problem wiht a critical component

sometimes I get an error that repllog.exe can not load...

it varies...sometimes I get one error...sometimes I get no errors...sometimes I get 5 errors...

so as youc an see it is a little hard to be specific when the error is not specific....

Thanks!

Re: Two problems....

My suggestions.

1. did you change any of the file system cache settings?
2. Did you use the Advanced configuration program?
3. maybe uninstall s2u2 and see if the issues go away.

1) I think I did change the system cache a while ago...but the problem started WELL after that...I think....

2) Yes I have used the Advanced Config program...but what does that have to do with it?

3) Already uninstalled S2U2 did not help...put it back on....

Thanks for the help!

Re: Two problems....

Only comment about #2 is all the other oddities that A.C. seems to be causing on the touch.

So if A.C. is removed, does that fix the problems? Or has it for others?
