Stupid noob stumped, please help

well, things seems to have worked themselves out? Or maybe the tech I talked to did something, I dunno, but I finally managed to update the PRL GPS works, I got my EVDO icon back, and according to the speedtest I'm doing ok. (about 500kbps). Though speed wise I get a really strong, fast burst of speed, but after the 600k mark, it plummets to 2-4kbps. Good enough for web browsing, horrid for streaming.

Is there any way to back up the PRL and user settings to transfer them to a new ROM? I'm now using ghetto's v721 generic, and I'd like to stay there, but I'm a sucker for flashing now that I can do it so easily :P I'd just hate to have to go through all this every time I wanna try something new lol!

Anyway, things are working fine, I don't wanna tweak anything else for fear of breaking it again! I have to say though, this is an amazing forum, I was up till 4am dorking around with ROMs lol
