Re: bluetooth headset -> vibrate off
Same problem here. It only happens when my bluetooth is turned on and then, only when I hang up from a call. I am running the latest official Sprint ROM 3.56 with Radio 3.42.50 on my Mogul. This is sooooooo frustrating.

Re: bluetooth headset -> vibrate off
Ah! at least it's not just me! I just hard reset the official ROM and it still does it.
Just curious, do you have a headset that also does stereo music? I have the Jabra BT8010 which does hands free and music. I have the music profile (A2DP I think) disabled and it still does this. |

Re: bluetooth headset -> vibrate off
well, i think the problem is! ready?...........
You can't use a headset with vibrate!#!@*# I think lol What happens is that if your phone is on vibrate, and you're using a head set, and then a call comes in right, you think you'd be able to answer with the head set. But i'm guessing some engineer thought "who would leave their phone on their desk and walk around with a wireless headset and have the phone on vibrate?" SO, it's not compatible. I tried this a long time ago and it didn't work then. So i'm not surprised it doesn't work now. So what im also guessing is that the phone will force audio ringer back on so you can hear it on the headset, and turn off vibrate "because who would leave their phone behind..." It does suck, and i wish we could fix it but i'm pretty sure thats the case. Small things like this upset me because we should be able to configure it anyway we want, but of course, they don't think so!

Re: bluetooth headset -> vibrate off
yeah i have the motorola s9 headset. I listen to music on the way to work on my motorcycle. So i don't really care to answer the phone because i can't hear/talk anyways right. The ringer is turned to silent, but then so is the phone! So it's at it's lowest volume and only have phone volume turned up.
before i tried doing it on vibrate and that's how i encountered this problem. |

Second, the *RINGER* is set to OFF after answering a call. It's the PPC (sounds, music, etc) that is turned on. There is a third volume that is called "In Call" that is adjustable independent of these only while a call is connected. Plus, this has only been an issue since WM6.1 I've been doing this same routine for almost 6 months and this has just started in the last month or two (and survives hard/soft resets). |

Re: bluetooth headset -> vibrate off
lol, i just used that as an example. My real life situation was I had my phone inside my leather jacket, so i have no access to it. So I wanted to listen to my music through my phone without the ringer bugging me... I wanted to keep the radio on so i can at least log to see who calls me (not everyone leaves voice mails cause they don't like leaving messages) and to get texts so when i get to work i'm not behind on crap. Also to keep my inet connection open.
But it was just an example |

Re: bluetooth headset -> vibrate off
Yeah, I'm just saying it doesn't make sense that someone intentionally disabled bluetooth headset + vibrate. So much for "hands-free" if you have to reclick your @#*&#$@#$ ringer on every time you make/take a call.
