What happens is that if your phone is on vibrate, and you're using a head set, and then a call comes in right, you think you'd be able to answer with the head set.

But i'm guessing some engineer thought "who would leave their phone on their desk and walk around with a wireless headset and have the phone on vibrate?" SO, it's not compatible. I tried this a long time ago and it didn't work then. So i'm not surprised it doesn't work now.

So what im also guessing is that the phone will force audio ringer back on so you can hear it on the headset, and turn off vibrate "because who would leave their phone behind..." It does suck, and i wish we could fix it but i'm pretty sure thats the case.

Small things like this upset me because we should be able to configure it anyway we want, but of course, they don't think so!
interesting way to explain it, but I agree. I've noticed that a long time ago, but I am so used to putting my phone on vibrate whenever I am heading back to work that it doesn't bother me.
