HTC Touch freezing on chargers overnight

and then you won't get any calls or alarms? not really a practical solution.

yeah thought about that but then disconnecting from the world is a good thing periodically. i charge on the computer via usb now and periodically shut er down, grab a beer(s), and disconnect from the world.

That's how I charge my phone also, but I do it through the USB port that's on the front of my Comcast HD converter box, and never had any problems like it freezing or whatever. Sometimes I leave my bluetooth on all nite and still no problems in the morning
