Unhappy E-Mail Sync Issue

Not sure if anyone else has run into this problem, but previously I just used my Hotmail account as my email account on my Touch and I never had any sync issues. I have the account set to "as items arrive".

I added a Yahoo account to check and had some problems with getting that mail for some reason. I then decided to remove that account.

Now, whenever I don't have any email (on the Hotmail account - the only account I still have on my Touch), there is no issue, but if I DO have mail, I always get the white screen that says "There was a problem during synchronization. Please resynchronize."

If I then dismiss this and check again manually, the message waiting comes through.

Any ideas how I can get rid of this error message and actually have the email come in like it used to? Any help would be appreciated.
