E-Mail Sync Issue
Not sure if anyone else has run into this problem, but previously I just used my Hotmail account as my email account on my Touch and I never had any sync issues. I have the account set to "as items arrive".
I added a Yahoo account to check and had some problems with getting that mail for some reason. I then decided to remove that account. Now, whenever I don't have any email (on the Hotmail account - the only account I still have on my Touch), there is no issue, but if I DO have mail, I always get the white screen that says "There was a problem during synchronization. Please resynchronize." If I then dismiss this and check again manually, the message waiting comes through. Any ideas how I can get rid of this error message and actually have the email come in like it used to? Any help would be appreciated. |

hhhmm not sure. Only thing I know of check hotmail or yahoo is that they both started charging to check it via pop or imap (basically checking any way besides the websites)...

Well, this is ticking me off enough that I think I'm finally going to bite the bullet and do the 6.1 update. Might as well now. Nothing to lose and able to gain what WM 6.1 brings to the table. Time to basically reset the phone anyway and start over with all the crap I have loaded over time.

Not sure if this will address your issues - I thought I remembered a topic on the verizon website xv6900 support that specifically mentioned hotmail and yahoo accounts.
